Fujifilm X-S10 Battery Life

If the Fujifilm X-S10 will be your first Fujifilm camera, I have a suggestion that could save your butt if you’re out shooting with a client. Buy multiple batteries. The Fujifilm X-S10 uses the NP-126s batteries that can also be found in a few other X models including the Fujifilm X-T3.

Better yet, buy a power pack. I highly recommend an Anker PowerCore 20000 or 26800. This pack works by charging the battery via the USB-C port. Trust me, it is much better to have a wire going from your waist/pocket into the camera and constantly charging the battery when you need to than NOT having a connection, the battery dying and then telling the client, “hold on, I have to change out my batteries”. That totally kills the mood/flow.

When taking a look at the specifications on the Fujifilm X-S10, it says the battery is good for about 325 pictures or 40 minutes of 4k or Full HD video. Of course, those come with footnotes so be sure to check that out.
