Baseus vs BenQ Screenbar
In a lot of instances, I noticed a lot of creators were sent the BenQ Screenbar Monitor Light in exchange for a review. Being a creator myself, I can’t fault them but I do wonder if we have created this echo chamber where purchasing a BenQ screenbar became the default standard (does the Autonomous Ergochair Pro ring a bell?). Honestly, that’s a smart move by BenQ’s marketing department in order to corner the screen bar market but let’s talk about an alternative option: The Baseus Monitor Light Bar.
Since I own both the Baseus ($39) and BenQ ($109) screenbars, I will note that both can be manually adjusted, have a sleek design, are glare free, have warm and cool temperatures, and illuminates your space for a comfortable viewing experience. I’m sure you’re thinking, what about the differences and how much do they matter? Let’s take a peak at the differences below and wrap up with a final thought.
I’ve read the room and I agree with the internet regarding the pushback on the BenQ’s price. Given the wide price gap, I can’t justify recommending the BenQ screenbar to the average reader. Give me a warm, white and cool color and I’m set. I also don’t see myself caring much about an auto-dimming feature since I like manually adjusting the brightness. With that being said, consider the Baseus Screenbar Monitor Light as a better value.
